The ingredients needed to prepare Tomato sauce:
  1. Prepare 1 kg fresh red tomato
  2. Provide 1/2 cup+ 4 Tbsp sugar (use measuring cup and spoon )
  3. You need 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  4. Get 1/2 tsp taj and clove powder
  5. You need to taste Salt
Instructions to make Tomato sauce:
  1. Take a fresh tomato first wash it and cut it into half and then 4 pieces each.
  2. Then take a cooker or pot.add all chopped tomato in it. If you take a cooker take 3 to 4 whistles but without adding water. and if you take a pot add all tomato and on the gas and cover with a lid. Once it turns soft remove the skin and crush and mash well with a masher or spoon
  3. Then the next step is to blend the mixture make like puree. Then strain this puree with big strainer and you will get smooth texture pulp.
  4. Put it on gas in a deep pan and boil it till it becomes half then add sugar and salt and boil till water reduces. After some time add red chilli powder mix it and boil it till it becomes thick and no watery part remains.
  5. In this sauce we don't add any type of preservative, it stays fresh for a month in freeze so cook till all water dry. For this you have to do a plate test like put a drop of sauce on plate and see water comes out from it if no then our sauce is ready.
  6. Switch off the gas and take some rest and after some time add taj and clove powder and keep it aside to cool completely and then you can transfer in a glass jar and store in refrigerator.
