The ingredients needed to make Shavige custard:
  1. You need 5 cups milk
  2. Take 0.5 cup roasted vermicelli
  3. You need 3 tbsp custard powder
  4. Take 1 tsp almond powder
  5. Provide 0.5 tsp ghee
  6. Get 0.25 cup sugar or more based on your taste
  7. Provide Saffron threads
  8. Get Raisins/cashews
  9. Prepare 10 grapes
  10. Get 5 strawberries
  11. Take pieces Mango
  12. Use Almonds, plum, dates and other dry fruits
  13. Get Cardamom powder crushed
Steps to make Shavige custard:
  1. In a pan take 4 cups milk + saffron threads and allow it to boil.
  2. Now add roasted vermicelli to the boiling milk. Add sugar and 0.5 tsp ghee, raisins and cashews and let it boil for 10 minutes.
  3. Now in a separate bowl take a cup of milk+ custard powder and mix well until no lumps formed.
  4. Now add this custard milk+cardamom powder to the pan and mix well until thick milk formed.
  5. Cool it completely and refrigerate for 3 hours.
  6. Now in a glass take basil seeds(soaked in water)+refrigerated custard. Add dry fruits and fruits on top of it. Now add custard again to form double layered custard. Again decorate on top with fruits and dry fruits
