The ingredients needed to prepare Wholemeal Banana Bread with Jaggery:
  1. You need 2 Cup Whole wheat flour
  2. Take 3 Medium size ripe banana
  3. Provide 2 Eggs
  4. You need 1/2 Cup Jaggery (crushed into powder)
  5. Provide 3 tbsp olive oil
  6. Prepare 1 tsp Vanila Extract
  7. Use 1 tsp Cinnomon Powder
  8. Take 4 tbsp chopped walnut
  9. Use 3 tbsp raisins
  10. Take 1 tsp baking soda

  1. Mix Jaggery and oil and beat it till well mixed
  2. Add egg and beat well
  3. Mash Banana into a smooth paste and add it in the mixture

  5. Add flour, salt and baking powder. Mix well
  6. Add raisins and 3 tbsp walnut into the mixture
  7. Brush a cake tin with oil and pour the mixture in it
  8. Sprinkle rest of the walnut on top of it.
  9. Bake it at 165C for 55-60 min
  10. Take the tin out and check by inserting a knife. If it comes out clean then, it's done.
  11. Wait for 5 min, then take the bread out. Allow it to cool on wire rack for about 60 min.
  12. Slice or cut it the way you want. It can be stored in the fridge for upto a week though I doubt it will last that long 😊
