The ingredients needed to make Halwa Poori:
  1. Get Aaloo bhaji :-
  2. Use 2 large potatoes
  3. Use 1 tsp cumin seeds
  4. Use 1 tsp coriander seeds
  5. Prepare 1 tsp kalonji
  6. Use 1 tsp salt
  7. Get 1 tsp red chilli flakes
  8. Prepare 1/2 tsp turmeric
  9. You need 2 tbsp oil
  10. Get 1/4 tsp yellow food colour
  11. Use 1 tsp cornflour
  12. Provide 4 tbsp water
  13. Use Poori :-
  14. Take 2 cups patent flour
  15. You need 1 tbsp oil
  16. Provide 1 tbsp yogurt
  17. Provide 1/2 tsp salt
  18. Get Lukewarm water as required
  19. You need Sooji halwa :-
  20. Prepare 1/2 cup semolina
  21. Prepare 1/2 cup ghee
  22. Take 2 cardamoms
  23. You need 2 cups water
  24. Take 1 cup sugar
  25. Provide 1/2 pinch baking soda
  26. Get 1 pinch yellow food colour
Instructions to make Halwa Poori:
  1. Prepare poori dough. Combine flour, yogurt, salt,oil and knead with liukewarm water. Rest the dough for 15 minutes while keeping it covered.
  2. Roll in shape of pooris while dusting fry flour over it and deep fry in hot oil. Keep on absorbent paper before serving.
  3. Now prepare bhaaji. Take a pot put potatoes, red chilli flakes, zeera, sabut dhaniya, salt, kalonji,oil, yellow food colour and enough water so that potatoes get tender in it. Let it cook for 15 to 20 minutes or until potatoes are done.
  4. Dissolve cornflour in little amount of water and add to the bhaaji to thicken it. Cook for 2 more minutes and switch off flame.
  5. Prepare sooji halwa. First prepare sheera. Take a pot add water, sugar, yellow food colour and baking soda and let it cook until sugar dissolves. Switch off the flame your sheera is ready.
  6. Take another pot, add ghee, cardamom and sooji and fry until fragrant. Add the previously prepared sheera to it and cook for 5 minutes. Now cover the pot and cook for another 10 minutes or until ghee comes up over the halwa. Switch off flame.
  7. Now decorate yout halwa with almonds and pistachios. Serve hot with pooris and bhaaji😀😍
