- Get 250 grams simamullanki/ carrots,finely diced
- Get 250 gms muttakose/ cabbage,finely shredded or chopped

- Use 1-2 green chillies, chopped
- Take 10-12 curry leaves
- Take 2 Tbsp coconut/sesame oil
- Prepare 1 tsp mustard seeds
- Take 1 tsp husked split black gram /urad dal
- Get 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- Use 1 tsp cumin powder
- Get 1/4 cup grated fresh coconut

- In a mixing bowl, add chopped carrots, cabbage, onions, few curry leaves, green chillies, cumin powder, turmeric and salt. Mix well and keep aside.
