- Have oil heated to 325 * f - - Pick the boiled potato discard the skin. mash the potato in a large bowl add jalapenos,salt, pepper, cheese and mix to combine,Roll the mixture about the size of a golf ball,place the flour, eggs, and bread crumbs in 3 separate bowls. Roll each ball in the flour, then the egg and then the bread crumb set aside,when the oil is hot fry the balls in batches. Cook for about 5 minutes per batch, serve along with ranch dressing.
