The ingredients needed to prepare Pav bhaji:
- Provide 2 onions
- Prepare 2 potatoes
- Use 4 carrots
- You need 2 tomatoes
- Provide 100 grams green peas
- Prepare 1 full garlic
- Use 1 1/2 tbsp pav bhaji masala
- Get leaves As required Coriander
- Prepare 1.5-2 tbsp rock salt
- Use 1/2 tbsp turmeric
- Take 2 tbsp butter
Instructions to make Pav bhaji:
- Cut all the veggies.
- Crush garlic.
- Heat butter in pan.
- Add garlic and onions. Cook for 5 minutes until onions brown a little.
- Add carrots, green peas, potatoes. Cook for 10 minutes or until garlic starts sticking to the bottom on low flame.
- Add rock salt and turmeric. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Add tomatoes. Cook for 10 minutes or until potatoes and carrots are cooked (taste and check).
- Mash it until all the pieces look moderately squished.
- Add water. Mix and mash a little more until it's the consistency you want.
- Add pav bhaji masala. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Add coriander. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Garnish with lemon and raw onion. Serve with toasted pavs.
