The ingredients needed to prepare Pav bhaji:
  1. Provide 2 onions
  2. Prepare 2 potatoes
  3. Use 4 carrots
  4. You need 2 tomatoes
  5. Provide 100 grams green peas
  6. Prepare 1 full garlic
  7. Use 1 1/2 tbsp pav bhaji masala
  8. Get leaves As required Coriander
  9. Prepare 1.5-2 tbsp rock salt
  10. Use 1/2 tbsp turmeric
  11. Take 2 tbsp butter
Instructions to make Pav bhaji:
  1. Cut all the veggies.
  2. Crush garlic.
  3. Heat butter in pan.
  4. Add garlic and onions. Cook for 5 minutes until onions brown a little.
  5. Add carrots, green peas, potatoes. Cook for 10 minutes or until garlic starts sticking to the bottom on low flame.
  6. Add rock salt and turmeric. Cook for 5 minutes.
  7. Add tomatoes. Cook for 10 minutes or until potatoes and carrots are cooked (taste and check).
  8. Mash it until all the pieces look moderately squished.
  9. Add water. Mix and mash a little more until it's the consistency you want.
  10. Add pav bhaji masala. Cook for 2 minutes.
  11. Add coriander. Cook for 2 minutes.
  12. Garnish with lemon and raw onion. Serve with toasted pavs.
