Before you jump to Marshmallow Fondant recipe, you may want to read this short interesting healthy tips about Green Living In The Kitchen area Will Save You Cash.

Remember when the only people who cared about the natural environment were tree huggers and hippies? Those days are over, and it seems we all comprehend our role in stopping and possibly reversing the damage being done to our planet. The experts are agreed that we are not able to change things for the better without everyone’s active involvement. This needs to happen soon and living in ways more friendly to the environment should become an objective for every individual family. Here are some tips that can help you save energy, for the most part by making your cooking area more green.

Start with exchanging the lights. Of course you shouldn’t confine this to merely the kitchen area. The usual light bulbs are the incandescent type, which should be replaced with compact fluorescent lightbulbs, which save energy. These bulbs are usually energy-efficient which means electricity consumption is lower, and, while they cost a bit more to buy, will outlast an incandescent light ten times over. Using these longer-lasting lightbulbs has the particular benefit that many fewer lightbulbs make it into landfills. It goes further than merely exchanging the lights, though; turning off lights that aren’t needed is definitely another good thing to do. The kitchen lights especially tend to be left on all day long, just because the family tends to spend a lot of time there. And it’s not restricted to the kitchen, it happens in other parts of the house as well. Try keeping the lights off unless you absolutely need them, and notice how much electricity you can save.

The kitchen on its own provides you with many small means by which energy and money can be saved. Eco-friendly living just isn’t that tough. It’s related to being functional, most of the time.

We hope you got benefit from reading it, now let’s go back to marshmallow fondant recipe. You can have marshmallow fondant using 4 ingredients and 5 steps. Here is how you do that.

The ingredients needed to cook Marshmallow Fondant:
  1. Get 16 oz mini marshmallows
  2. Provide 4 cups powdered sugar
  3. Provide 1 glass water
  4. Provide Flavorless oil
Steps to make Marshmallow Fondant:
  1. Melt the mini marshmallows in the microwave. Depending on your microwave, I recommend using 30 second intervals when melting. You will need to watch them to make sure they do not overflow and pour out of your bowl in order to avoid creating a sticky mess. I did 3.5 intervals before everything was good and melted.
  2. Pour the melted marshmallows into a large mixing bowl and mix in 3 cups of powdered sugar.
  3. With the mixture still in the bowl, add the remaining powdered sugar. Now apply the oil to your hands and knead the powdered sugar into mixture. Knead for at least 10 minutes. If the mixture gets too firm, add a tablespoon of water.
  4. Apply oil to your counter top and continue kneading. You want the fondant to be soft and easy to mold in your hands. If it is too firm, add water one tablespoon at a time and keep kneading. At this point, you can add some food coloring. Remember that a little goes a long ways so it isn't a bad idea to add it small amounts using a toothpick while you knead.
  5. Your fondant is now ready to be rolled out and applied to your cake or cupcakes. You can also store it in your fridge for later use. Roll it into a ball and use some more oil to grease the outside of it before you double wrap it in plastic wrap. For good measure, also put it in a ziplock bag. This fondant apparently can stay good for a few weeks in the fridge while wrapped up like this.
