- For making idlies : In a bowl add sooji or semolina, salt, curd,water and make a smooth batter.
- In a deep pan or vessel, add 2 cups of water and bring to boil, for steaming the idlies.
- Mix the sooji batter with eno and immediately pour the batter into the greased moulds.
- Steam the idlies for 5-8 minutes or till the idlies are fluffy and cooked.
- Take out the idlies from the mould and let it cool.Chop the idlies into cubes. Keep aside.
- In a wok, heat oil. Add all the vegetables except cabbage. Saute' the vegetables.
- Now add the cabbage and stir fry
- Add salt, red chilli powder,black pepper, soya sauce,tomato ketchup and vinegar. Mix well.
- Add the chopped idlies and mix lightly. Be careful not to mash the idlies.
- Put the dish in a serving platter and serve sizzling hot.
