- Get 1 cup basmati rice
- You need 3-4 tbsp oil
- Prepare 2 tbsp cumin seeds
- Use 2 bay leaves
- Provide 2 cinnamon stickss
- Get 7-8 green cardamoms
- Use 7-8 cloves
- Use 7-8 black pepper
- Get 1 sliced onion
- Provide 1 cup tomato puree
- You need 1/2 Cup green peas
- You need 1/2 cup carrot
- Provide 1/2 cup cauliflower
- You need 1/2 cup potato
- Get 1/2 Cup capcicum
- Take as per taste Salt
- Use 2 tbsp curd
- Get 1 tbsp turmeric powder
- You need 1 tbsp coriander powder
- You need 1 tbsp red chilli powder
- Provide 2 tbsp Garam Masala
- Take 1 tbsp cumin powder
- Get 2 glasses water
- Get 5-6 tbsp finely chopped coriander and mint leaves
Steps to make Veg biryani:
- Take oil in kadhai add cumin seeds, bay leaves, cinnamon stick, black pepper, cloves, green cardamom, sliced onion let it cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Then add tomato puree, let it cook for 2 to 3 minutes then add carrot capsicum, cauliflower, green peas potato curd salt, cumin powder, Garam Masala, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt as per taste, mix all the ingredients well, cover it and let all the vegetables cook well on low flame.
- Add 2 glass of water in a vessel, salt as per taste, turmeric powder and one cup soaked basmati rice and let it boil until the rice cook well.
- Now combine first layer of vegetable then cooked rice, then again vegetable then again rice, Sprinkle coriander and mint leaves, cover it with lid and cook it for 2 to 4 minutes.
- Veg biryani is ready to serve. Serve hot.
