- Provide 2 stalks celery with leaves
- Prepare 1 carrot

- Provide 2 tsp mirin/sweet cooking sake
- Use 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- Get 1 pinch salt
- Prepare 1 handful katsuobushi/bonito flakes for dashi (Okay to leave out)

- Slice the celery stalks into 1 cm diagonal pieces. Mince the leaves and set aside. Cut the carrot into thin matchsticks.
