The ingredients needed to prepare Homemade pizza:
- You need For the Dough
- You need 250 g All purpose flour
- Prepare 1 tsp Instant yeast
- Use 1 Warm cup water
- You need 1 tsp sugar
- Take 1/2 tsp salt
- Use 1 tbsp cooking oil
- Provide For the Topping /pizza sauce
- Get 250 g mozzarella cheese
- Use 1 kg minced beef
- Take Tomato sauce (note not paste)
- Use 4 large tomatoes blended
- Prepare 5 large onions sliced
- Take (use 2 onions to fry minced meat & the rest blend with tomatoes)
- Provide 1 tbsp Honey/brown sugar(optional if you don't want sweet taste)
- You need 1 tsp Garlic powder (optional)
- Get 1 cube Royco beef cube
- Use 1 tsp Paprika (optional)
- You need 1 tsp curry powder
- Prepare 1/2 tsp nutmeg (optional)
- Take (Note: I added the spices to make the sauce rich in taste)
Instructions to make Homemade pizza:
- Sieve the flour and add the salt, sugar, yeast & oil. Knead to make a dough similar to chapati. Cover the bowl with a clean cloth for 20min
- Fry the minced meat with onion until cooked.
- Add in the spices and let it fry. Add the blended tomatoes & onion mixture. Add a cup of water, tomato sauce & honey. Let it simmer in low medium heat for 10min. Throw in a small slice or two of the cheese.
- Grate the cheese (helps in creating a uniform topping)
- Check on the Dough & you'll notice it (almost) doubled in size because of the yeast. I divided mine into 3 potions to make a medium sized pizza.
- Make a round shape with the dough enough to fit in the baking tray or use a medium-sized sufuria lid (like I did; use it too to make the round (pizza) crust) by placing it on top.
- Preheat your oven to the highest temperature (mine goes to around 250 degrees celcius) for around 5min
- Once you dough is stable add in the toppings, start with the sauce (minced beef sauce) & then cheese.
- Cook it in the oven for 15min.
- Viva! Your pizza is ready. Slice it up or eat it whole lol & Enjoy!
